Tech Writing Samples

Below are samples of technical documents that I authored. The documentation process required that I interview experts, programmers and end-users. I would then compile the gathered information into a readable document.

I am by no means an expert in any of the fields for which I’ve written. I am not a programmer (most programming languages are Greek to me). My programming expertise begins and ends with the building of this web site, which is amateur at best.

These documents are in .pdf format so they will require Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have it, you can download it for free from the Adobe website.

User Manual This is a user manual that I authored. I’ve changed the name of the company and the name of the software within the document for privacy reasons.

Requirement Document Here’s a sample requirements document for one feature of a blood analyzer machine.

Release Notes: One of the many software accompanying Release Notes that I authored.

I’ve got more samples of technical documents and user manuals, but just how many technical documents does it take to give a person an idea of my writing abilities. Honestly, one document is probably more than a person can stomach.
